Today in class:

Students took their week three quiz covering the vocabulary and lab that we have been debriefing. Following the quiz, students were asked to think about the scientific method and then watch a brief video entitled Ormie the Pig. Ormie has a problem and I asked students to watch while thinking about what Ormie's problem and the scientific method have in common. View the video here: Ormie the Pig Wants a Cookie

After the quiz, students turned in their vocabulary cards.

I handed out the upcoming weeks reading on measuring distance and time and students were told to put it in their duo- tang folder so it does not get lost.

The remainder of the class was dedicated to answering questions over how the lab report should be filled out. Students were reminded that it will be due Monday September 9th, 2013
