Today in class: 7th grade: All classes turned in their TIPS today. We reviewed the part of the microscope and started notes on the WEird World of Cell Theory. It can be viewed at this link. Weird World of Cell Theory

We listed the three parts of the cell theory:

1. All cells come from pre-existing cells.

2. The cell is the basic unit of structure and function for all living things.

3. Every organism is composed of one or more living cells.

All classes were told to read through the microscope basics lab for next week.

8th grade classes:

All classes turned n their TIPS assignment today.

There was much confusion over reading the periodic table so we spent the majority of the class going over how to read the periodic table of elements and how to calculate protons, neutrons, and electrons from the information given.

Students were to read the unit on Atoms for next week.
