"Remember, Remember the 5th of November..."

Today in class:

7th grade classes reported to the lab to continue our microscope investigation. Today students actually got to practice making a dry mount and wet mount slide. Students cut a letter out of the dictionary and practiced using the microscope to make detailed descriptions of their letter. To say they were amazed would be an understatement. The sounds of, "wow loo at that!", or ooooooh, Mr. Allison, what is that? rang throughout the room.

Sadly, there is still a healthy number of student who are not turning in their homework or studying and so they are doing book work while the lab is going on.
