Today's Quote:
Recap:
Wednesday was a half day and attendance was particularly low. Remember, you MUST be in school! In class students used the time to finish up the Practice with Dependent and Independent Variables. We will look at some of them today in class. We also took the time to celebrate the incredible article printed and online that the Ocala, Star-Banner ran about our aquaponics program.
Brain Bender:
"Your collection of rare record albums almost rivals your murdered aunt's world famous collection."Said Sherlock to Sam Smythe. "Yes, "replied Sam, "She had several one -of-a-kinds. As her accountant, I can certainly verify the value of such a collection." "We're not sure what the burglar was after when he murdered your aunt,"said Sherlock, "but we found two very rare records hidden under the floorboard. These would certainly be of interest to you."Sam leaned forward and indicated that he would very much like to read them. Sherlock then withdrew the two accounting records hidden by the deceased lady which showed the debits and credits of a substantial fortune. "My aunt was going senile so her entries wouldn't mean a thing,"offered Sam. "I believe you were involved in your aunt's murder, "accused Sherlock. Why?

Weather and Atmosphere:
Unit Essential Question: How do the relationships among the five spheres affect life on Earth
How do the relationships among the five spheres affect life on Earth?
Key Learning Statement: The atmosphere is layered and within these layers are weather patterns that affect life and are caused by interactions among spheres. Water is constantly being recycled through the spheres. Heat transfer affects the development of weather.
Homework:
Weather, the basics. Read the article and take notes, Prepare to discuss. Due Thursday and Friday
