Recap: 

  Students were given 5 minutes to scan the lab safety test and answer. Scores were not too bad, but fell well short of the 100% every student must have before we can enter the lab. We went over a few of the questions to see what they were struggling with. I took the time to clarify that while the test specifies you use soap and water to clean a chemical spill on your skin, technically we would use a buffer solution depending on if it's an acid or a base. This lead to an impromptu review of the pH scale. Students should review the lab safety rap video again. 

I learned how to use One Note yesterday and they will have the syllabus and other class documents in their notebook as soon as I can get it set up.

 Students made their initial observations in the Fortune Telling Fish lab. We will finish this today.
