In all three classes we went over the parent involvement homework. Please be sure to have a family member sit down with you to complete this assignment due Thursday or Friday when I see you. 8th grade classes took their quiz and then we began covering the Powerpoint notes. 7th grade passed in their homework and then we began discussing the organelles in the cell. We reviewed chloroplasts- found only in plant cells and responsible for the conversion of sunlight into glucose for energy. Cell membrane, cell wall- found in plant, bacterial and fungal cells, but NOT animal cells. Mitochondria, vacuoles, and nucleus (definition #2)
5th and 6th period need to complete their home work which is now a day late.
