Coming off a very busy week, Biology 1 students took the test over cellular functions and cell structure. From here, we are moving on to how living things are classified. Students should have completed the STEM SIMS lab, online by tomorrow. The link is below and the username and password are in your syllabus. REMEMBER_ you need to email me the lessons, 1-7 AND the assessment. Please make sure you include your name and period since the log-in is the same for everyone.
Earth space science students have finished up their discussions over Continental drift and seafloor spreading and should be familiar with the evidence that was used to move these hypotheses into the Theory category. They will take a test over this today.
Intensive English classes finished up their essays and turned them in yesterday. We will do peer editing today. They should also be studying their new vocabulary. Today is the vocabulary test over context clues, Direct explanations. REMEMBER- words from other weeks will also be on the test. Students in both periods should have completed the Readworks.org articles by today.

Students who correct ALL the mistakes on their returned papers will receive 10 points more. Make your corrections on a separate piece of paper and staple it to the actual paper, turn it in. Example: If you scored a 60 on an assignment and you correct ALL of the mistakes, I will add 10 points to make it a 70.
