Today's Quote:

Recap:

We went over the Science Fair packet and spoke about where each student should be in the Science Fair Process. Students then came to the board and discussed their ideas about what was happening in the mystery apparatus. I was pleased to see that their powers of observation have improved dramatically. For example, many noticed the corks sealed the cans and that no water was observed flowing through the rubber tube, so it must have been there for another purpose. (air flow) Many correctly reasoned that some type of pressure must be involved in causing the water to flow, although they were not sure it was air or water pressure.

Science Fair Projects Due! (countdown timer)

Brain Bender:

There are six ears of corn in a hollow stump. If a perfectly healthy squirrel  carries only three ears out each day, how many days will it take to empty the stump? (answer in tomorrow's blog)
