Today's Quote:
If you face the fear that keeps you frozen
Chase the sky into the ocean
That's when something wild calls you home,
Recap:
I have to apologize for falling down on the job and not getting the blog updated on Wednesday. I just had too much to do with so many grants coming up, researching innovative discipline techniques, and trying to score all my assignments. Science students began the End of unit exam and will finish this up today with part 2. Language arts students finished up their vocabulary test and began working on their final poem for this unit.
Students who correct ALL the mistakes on their returned papers will receive 10 points more. Make your corrections on a separate piece of paper and staple it to the actual paper, turn it in. Example: If you scored a 60 on an assignment and you correct ALL of the mistakes, I will add 10 points to make it a 60.
Entry Task/ Brain Bender:
While on vacation in Europe, Shadow was touring some of the ancient castles. The tour went up a long flight of stairs until they came upon a huge wooden door. The guide pulled the door open and shone a light inside. There was a long shaft with four walls ending some 40 meters below. The guide explained that this room had served as a disposal system for those who were out of favor with the castle lord. As the group made their way back down the stairs, they heard a scream and a thud. Shadow and the guide ran back to find a suicide note pinned to the large wooden door. They swung the door open and shone the light down the shaft. A woman from the tour group lay dead at the bottom. "This was no suicide," declared Shadow, "This was murder." How could he be so certain?

- Final lab reports must be hand printed in blue or black ink only OR You can choose to word process your report and then use a glue stick to glue it into your COW
