8th Grade Honors completed their rocket launches and their data table and were tasked with going home and finishing the two calculations they could do; acceleration and velocity. I will check those today. they were reminded not to forget their units when they show me their data table.

7th Grade Honors went into the courtyard to examine a flower and learn about the parts. We returned to the classroom and ran through the Law of Conservation of Matter and how to balance the photosynthetic equation. I also pointed out that there are both light phase and dark phase reactions in photosynthesis. Students will take a quiz today over the flower parts, photosynthesis and balancing chemical equations.

8th grade physical science continued working in chapter 12 of the textbook and will be moving into chapter 4 over energy.
